Following in the footsteps of Alice in Wonderland and Peter Pan’s Flight, Snow White’s Scary Adventures is getting a major refurbishment next year. There’s absolutely nothing more to report than a headline at this point, but the OC Register managed to write 230 words on the topic. According to Dusty Sage at MiceChat, the $445,000 price tag of the refurb isn’t enough to pay for half of a single animatronic in today’s tech, so this appears to be a fairly low-budget refurb, at least so far.
In other dark ride news, the Indiana Jones ride is getting some work done in 2020. Like with Scary Adventures, this is the the extent of the news so far, with the OC Register article only mentioning work on the bridge scene and some new rock work.
And finally, Disneyland started work last month on the new Mickey and Minnie Runaway Railway dark ride, coming to Toontown in 2022. Disney World is also getting the ride, which opens in 2020.
