Political Pangea 5/21/2020

I love a good map, but Pangea has always been difficult for me to visualize as it relates to the world today. But Massimo Pietrobon has made a map of Pangea with today‚Äôs countries and borders, showing our political world as it existed 200 million years ago.

His site with the map is in Italian, but with the magic of Google Translate, he says:

Bringing the world together in a single piece of land represents a return to the unity of the planet, to the unity of mankind, in spite of the divisions that make our rulers so comfortable!

I love the map and the sentiment behind it.
