After The Verge reached out for comment, however, Facebook said it “resolved a technical issue that prevented a small number of video creators on Facebook from receiving their full in-stream ads payouts.”
The Verge says Facebook payments to creators were short by thousands of dollars. This isn’t a rounding error or a bit of forgetfulness, Facebook sent them a fraction of what was owed and then ignored them when they contacted the company. That’s just downright hostile.
